This vest goes under the shirt. That single fact drives every choice in it. The collar is bound thin so it does not rise above a shirt collar. The shoulder straps sit flat so a jacket hangs over them. The waist adjustment is a low profile panel rather than a set of buckles.
It is the vest we quote most often for plainclothes units, close protection details and cash escorts who need to look like everyone else on the street.
